The Solent provides some of the best opportunities for boat fishing in the country, from record-breaking Tope and Smoothhound in summer, to huge rod-bending Cod during the winter months. You'll also find much to excite at other times, such as the annual spring run of hard-fighting Black-bream, a large variety of Rays, Pollock, Conger and double-figure Bass.

Whether you want to drift over one of the numerous productive wrecks, or anchor by a sand-bank, ledge or gulley, you'll find experienced skippers and a variety of boats to take you there.
